Public Meetings
The Danville 2030 General Plan (the “Plan”) was developed through a cooperative effort among citizens, the Town Council, its Commissions, Town staff and consultants, and representatives from other public agencies. The draft Plan is the product of input provided over 25 public meetings that began in 2010. An extensive public outreach was undertaken including newspaper notices, newsletter articles, and two direct mailings of post cards to every mailing address in Danville.
The Planning Commission is scheduled to take public input on the draft Plan, Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR), and draft Sustainability Action Plan (SAP) from November 2012 through February 2013, and forward a recommendation to the Town Council. The Town Council is expected to hear to consider the Planning Commission’s recommendations by March or April 2013.
Unless otherwise noted, all General Plan Update meetings are held at the Danville Community Center located at 420 Front Street, Danville, CA 94526.
